Washington Post and Squad Democrats to hold memorial service for stern Muslim religious leader and scholar al-Baghdadi

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Post will join congressional Democrats, including Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), in honoring slain religious scholar Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi at a memorial service. On Oct. 27, 2019, U.S. President Trump announced the death of al-Baghdadi, when he said the leader "died like a dog, he died like a coward. He was whimpering, screaming, and crying."
