Chrissy Tiegen (Barbie) lives in a Barbie world with John Legend (Ken): Hey Chrissy, wanna go give a talk at a Democrat retreat? Sure!
Chrissy Tiegen and John Legend make a great Barbie and Ken couple, just like the song, by Aqua, with Ken and Barbie.
This song exemplifies the thinking ability of Chrissy Teigen, who has crowned herself a Mexico U.S. international consultant. She’s beautiful, she looks great, and she’s just as smart as Barbie in the song.
Hey Chrissy, wanna fly over to Virginia and criticize Ivanka Trump because she’s well off and Tweets about her children. Sure John. And so it was, a true Barbie and Ken talk on illegal immigrants, a horde of people crossing into the U.S.
It’s as though someone from the Democrat Party interrupted Chrissy and John while they were on a photo shoot for Chrissy’s book, “Cravings: Hungry for More.” Chrissy needed something more important than just looking great with her husband and kid and parents in their million dollar home. Why not give a talk on illegal immigration and how to deal with people crossing the border illegally.
Here are the lessons that we can learn from Chrissy:
First of all, people don’t cross the border illegally, especially if they are parents with children. Why? Because her own children cry when they leave and she can’t imagine any parent being separated from their own child, even when the child or teenager comes across the U.S. Mexico border with someone who is not their parent, but is a smuggler, using the child to illegally cross the border.
You see, smugglers, people who traffic in people from nearly everywhere in the world, they have feelings too, as parents, illegal parents and smugglers, just like Chrissy and John. Drug and human smugglers are really no different than Chrissy with her perfect children in her perfect million dollar house in California.
Every child smuggled into the U.S. deserves to live in a million dollar house in California.
Here is how race-baiter extraordinaire, Melissa Harris-Perry, the distraught former host of her own show on MSNBC phrased a question for Chrissy Tiegen:
Images of separation of families, and our understanding, I know for black folks, that image of ripping away of children from their mothers is not brand new in the United States. But that’s as immoral today as it was. And so I’m wondering from (panelist) statement on the human side, how you were experiencing as though images were emerging.
Some explanation is necessary before we get to Tiegen’s comments. Harris-Perry is speaking of slavery, when families were broken up when they were bought and sold. And yet, there is unintended wisdom in her comments, because like slaves were bought and sold, people are smuggled across the border. Then there were tragic consequences associated with slavery. Today there is tragic loss of life associated with smuggling women and children across the border, except that people like Harris-Perry, Tiegen and Legend live in a world where this simply doesn’t happen.
Even before I was a mother, I think that some people just don’t get it. If you don’t have children, you understand that parents love their kids, blah blah blah. I don’t want to say that it came from having children, but it’s a painful thing to see that. It’s painful to see such a complete lack of empathy, when it comes from people like Ivanka, I will say, that can post all day pictures of her children. That are just in her home and my daughter’s having trouble in her crib. My daughter’s doing this and my daughter’s - there are children out there that don’t have that opportunity. I cannot fathom for a second how scared our children would be if they were without us.
John Legend: That’s heartbreaking. (Yes. because you just now realized that it was happening because your wife said it was).
We are parents, we get the schpeel every time - mommy, daddy don’t go, and not break their hearts.
JL: Just from going to DC, to the Democratic Caucus. Just imagine if you don’t know your parents are coming back. And the kind of harm this inflicts on people.
CT: And also, what those parents are doing for their children, they are trying to get them a better life. They are trying to bring them someplace that they tell them is amazing. And to drop them off at some place that isn’t amazing. That isn’t being wonderful and isn’t a place that people should want to be at. That’s really sick and I think it’s sad. But this place, America, is always going to be better than where they’re coming from. It’s horrific what they have to give up to come here. These aren’t demons. These aren’t people that are monsters. Donald Trump treats everything like it’s an episode of, what’s that movie, The Village. Like there’s this wall and there are these monsters that we have to keep outside.
Legend: Yeah. (As though she made a profound comment or analogy
He kept everyone in and everyone outside because there were these pretend monsters outside. It’s not true. And it’s not okay. And we shouldn’t make our children fearful. We should give them hope. We should give these families hope that are trying to come here and give them a better life. People can to get to this place. This place, America, is always going to be better than where they’re coming from. It’s horrific what they have to give up to come here. And what the parents give up. These aren’t parents who are monsters.
We should probably cut Chrissy and John some slack, since they don’t seem to have a grasp on what is happening on the border. But this is just more stupidity from the left, from the Democrat Party: let’s invite people who are really rich and don’t have a clue how normal people live, don’t know anything about criminals who might want to actually use people to smuggle drugs or simply smuggle people, or how dangerous it is for children to cross the border.
Let’s get these people to say something intelligent about the border problem with Mexico. No. We can’t even say there is a problem, since we know that everything that has happened bad there is the fault of Trump or his daughter, Ivanka. If only Ivanka would stop Tweeting about her family, then things would get better at the border.
How can people like this be this detached from reality?
Further, Chrissy Tiegen is far worse in using her children to promote her perfect life than Ivanka Trump every will be. Look at her book. Look at the number of photos that have absolutely nothing to do with cooking. They symbolize the picture that most people have of a bimbo attractive model who can’t think beyond her next photo shoot.
Tiegen uses herself and her family, her mother and father, her children, as props to sell her book. Look inside the book and look at all of the cute photos of her child with her and John. Doesn’t that make you want to buy the book. It’s kind of like a product that Ivanka might market, because people want to be beautiful and smart and a business woman like Ivanka.
But the wisdom in this cookbook is really all of the wisdom that we can expect of Tiegen and Legend. She can create a cook book and use her family and her house to market her cookbook. She expects to be taken seriously as a model and a mother and be loving to all she encounters.
The problem is that she and her husband act like bullies in public when it comes to the president; she acts like the model that she is and has no grasp on the border problem with Mexico and the problem that is causes. She acts like the mother whose daughter was not chosen from the cheerleading squad. The mothers of the daughters who were chosen instead of her’s must be evil, like Ivanka.
It’s amazing that people like Legend and Tiegen can be this dumb, but this dumb they are. It’s as though Tiegen really believes that people who want to come to the U.S. from any country that has a lower standard of living than ours need only show up at the border and drop their kids off like they are taking them to school. It should be a simple as that.
What's really amazing is that Tiegen thinks that the people who step foot inside America, most of whom can't speak English, are going to live an amazing life. This is not the case. Most people who come to the U.S. from Mexico illegally are prone to traffickers in the U.S. for the simply fact that there are bad Mexicans in the U.S. who can blackmail them because they know that they are here illegally. After being blackmailed, they are used by gangs like MS-13 in the U.S. It's not a wonderful, amazing life for these people. They won't live in a million dollar home in California. They will likely live in squalid conditions in a slum.
What’s worse that that is the attitude of producers and others at CNN who should know better. They are desperate for anything that bashes Trump or any of his children. That’s why Tiegen’s rant made headlines for CNN. Anyone, no matter how uninformed, who criticizes Trump or any of his children can make headlines at CNN.
The next time Chrissy Tiegen and John Legend speak on international relations or the Mexico border crisis, they need to play Barbie Girl, by Aqua.
